OFAC Compliance Policy

United States Private Equity Council (USPEC) is steadfast in its commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and adhering to all applicable laws and regulations, including those enforced by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). OFAC regulations expressly prohibit conducting business activities in certain countries and with designated individuals or entities. As a result, USPEC is unable to provide services or engage in business activities in the following regions: Crimea region of Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria.

Furthermore, USPEC does not conduct business with individuals or organizations subject to export compliance laws and trade sanctions or listed on the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list. If a candidate attempts to register for the CPEP™ charter or an organization wants to register for a partnership despite being subject to U.S. sanctions prohibiting business transactions with USPEC, their registration will be promptly canceled without a refund.

Prospective candidates located outside the United States are strongly encouraged to carefully review the OFAC SDN list before applying for the CPEP™ charter or partnership program with USPEC to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
